Need a Custom Home Design?
One thing we’ve learned during 25 years of designing and building custom homes is that no two customers are alike. We all have different ideas, needs, wants, families, tastes, etc. We’ve designed hundreds of homes over the years and no two custom home designs are alike.
We pride ourselves on being good listeners as you lay out the wish list for your Dream Home. We encourage you to be open minded and give us as much information as possible. If you find an elevation you like on one plan and a floor plan you like on another, we can usually easily merge the two.
We are located in Carrollton, Georgia but we design homes all over the country. We’ve recently completed custom designs in Texas, Maine, and even Canada. We are happy to meet personally with customers who are within driving distance, but the internet has made long distance design a piece of cake.
The design process starts with an initial interview and a thorough wish list. We then develop Preliminary Drawings to scale using CAD Software. These Preliminary Floor Plans are modified until the customer approves. We then begin drawing elevations and email comments back and forth until the plan perfectly fits your family.
The cost of our Custom Design Services is $2.00 per heated square foot. For example, the total cost to design a 2,000 S.F. House would be $4,000. This fee is broken into three payments:
- 1/3 of the total as a deposit/retainer.
- 1/3 of the total when preliminary drawings are approved.
- 1/3 when final construction documents are completed.
We will email your final plans in PDF format that can be printed at any local printer. You are licensed to print as many copies as you need to build one house.
